Corrupt cops..

Hello,
This is first blog entry.. A few nights ago I decided I'll create a blog.. I dont know how many are going to read this or how this will create any change.. But it is just that my friend was so pissed off and he couldnt express it, I thought maybe some expression (on his behalf and also thousands of others in India) would help..
I had to meet a friend at MDI here.. So, I borrowed Venky's (for people who know 2 Venky's - this is the Reddy guy I am talking about) bike and he made sure that I carried all the bike papers.. So when the cop asked me to stop, I casually parked the bike and went to him with the papers.. He sees them 'carefully' and says that he would have to fine me since I was not wearing a helmet.. (Somebody tell me when this was mae mandatory in Haryana).. And that since I didnt have any original with me, I would have to pay fine for that as well.. The "gentleman" had the indecency to ask me if keep the originals at home for my parents to see.. And then he said he would let us go if we give him something.. I said 50 and I was shocked by his response.. He asked me if I thought it is UP police.. Another state's police put to shame by a shameless corrupt cop.. Some ego man.. I couldnt understand..
Whatever!! Well, now that I have started the blog, I am going to keep a tab as to the number of entries that I am going to make.. Something out of Cauli's blog..
